Maple Grove wins shootout; advances to final

Maple Grove outscored Lakeville North 3-1 in a shootout to win their state semifinal girls soccer match 1-0, advancing to the Class AA championship match Thursday at 5:30 pm at U.S. Bank Stadium. Jasmine Gates, Mia Omar and Meredith Haakenson scored for the Crimson in the shootout.
