Maple Grove Volleyball Ready for Big Season
They’re scrambling to get set for the season, but the Maple Grove volleyball team is ready for a big season.
Like all teams the Crimson found out September 21st that there would be a fall season after all.
The Minnesota State High School League had earlier pushed the season to spring of 2021 due to COVID-19.
Practices started this week, with matches set to begin October 8th for the Crimson and other local teams.
Maple Grove could be primed to have a strong season.
They have a lot of varsity experience, with eight seniors on the team.
Jamison Gray will start his first full season as varsity head coach, but he’s not new to the program.
Maple Grove opens the season at Champlin Park October 8th.
Fans will not be allowed at matches this season due to COVID-19 protocols.
