Maple Grove Tennis Camp Provides Much Needed Fun
After a few months of not being able to do much, the Maple Grove Tennis Camp is providing some much needed fun for local players.
The COVID-19 pandemic meant no spring tennis season for high school boys.
Boys and girls spent a lot of time at home, missing friends and athletic competition.
The camp, directed by former Maple Grove standout and current girls and boys assistant coach Zach Adkins, has helped.
Adkins says the turnout has been good and the players really needed something productive to do with their days.
The camp workouts have gotten more competitive as the summer moved forward, too.
