Maple Grove Softball Set for State Tournament
The Maple Grove softball team is back in the state tournament for the first time since winning the class AAAA title in 2019.
The Crimson swept through the Section 5AAAA tournament last week, allowing a total of one run in three wins.
They are the number two seed for this year’s state tournament and face Farmington in the class AAAA quarterfinals Thursday morning at 9:00 at Caswell Park in North Mankato.
This will be the ninth state softball tournament appearance in Maple Grove’s program history.
