Maple Grove PI Adapted Floor Hockey Places Fourth at State
The Maple Grove PI division adapted floor hockey team placed fourth at the state tournament, losing a good 4-3 battle to Rochester in the third place game.
Rochester built a 3-0 lead before Maple Grove rallied to tie it in the third period.
Rochester’s Cooper Morrissey then scored the game-winner in the third.
Maple Grove, which represents all of District 279, beat Minneapolis South 9-2 in the quarterfinals before losing to Dakota United in the semifinals.
