Maple Grove Girls Soccer Tops Centennial 3-2
Keira Gill, Anya Gerlach, and Riley Lloyd all scored goals in the second half to lead the Maple Grove girls soccer team to a 3-2 over Centennial.
Lloyd’s goal early in the second half broke a scoreless tie with Gill’s marker putting the Crimson ahead 2-0.
After the Cougars rallied to tie the match, Maple Grove won it on a header goal from Anya Gerlach off a corner kick by Lloyd.
Maple Grove (2-1-2) hosts Coon Rapids on Saturday afternoon.
