The Maple Grove girls soccer team is aiming at a state tournament trip.
The Crimson hosts St. Michael-Albertville for the Section 8AA championship Tuesday night.
Maple Grove battled through a tense semifinal win.
They beat Moorhead 1-0, breaking a scoreless tie with a penalty kick late in the game.
Maple Grove has been to the state class AA tournament the past two seasons.
They were in Section 5AA then; this is the first year in 8AA.
Game time is 7:00 Tuesday night at Maple Grove for the section final.
