Maple Grove Girls Soccer Returns to State Tournament
For the second year in a row and fifth time since 2017 the Maple Grove girls’ soccer team has qualified for the state tournament.
Maple Grove beat Spring Lake Park 4-2 in last week’s Section 5AAA final to qualify.
The Crimson (14-2-2) are unseeded for the state tournament and face second-seeded East Ridge (14-1-2) in the quarterfinal round Tuesday at 5:30 pm at White Bear Lake High School.
Winners of this week’s quarterfinal round matches in all three classes advance to the state semifinals next week at U.S. Bank Stadium.
