Maple Grove Girls Soccer is Tournament-Tested
For the third straight season the Maple Grove girls soccer team is in the state tournament. The Crimson finished as runner-up in Class AA in 2017 and lost in the tournament quarterfinals last fall to Minnetonka. The Crimson drew the Skippers in the quarterfinal round again this season.
Maple Grove defeated Moorhead 1-0 in the Section 8AA semifinals then needed a shootout to defeat St. Michael-Albertville in the final.
The teams meet Tuesday at 7:30 pm at North St. Paul High School. Watch the game replay on CCX1 and ccxmedia.org Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
