Maple Grove Girls Soccer Caps Regular Season with Shutout over Osseo
Maple Grove girls soccer closed out the regular season with a 6-0 win over their cross-town rival Osseo.
Orioles’ goalkeeper Lena Sillman kept Osseo in the game with several nice saves early on.
Maple Grove took a 1-0 lead into halftime on a Kiera Gill goal.
The Crimson got rolling in the second half with five goals scored including another from Gill, along with goals from Kelsey Wentland, Kaitlyn Clough, Hallie Khieu, and Rylie Lloyd.
Maple Grove finished its regular season with a 11-2-2 record.
Osseo is now 7-7-1 and will close their regular season this Saturday at Roseville.
