Maple Grove Girls Hockey Tested by State’s Best
The Maple Grove girls hockey team is getting tested in a tough stretch against some of the state’s best teams.
In the Walser Invitational holiday tournament last week, the Crimson faced tenth ranked Wayzata, number one Andover and number two Edina.
They rallied to beat Wayzata before losing to Andover and Edina.
The schedule isn’t much lighter in the next week.
Maple Grove meets number seven Rogers, number six Gentry Academy, and then a rematch against Andover in the next week.
Maple Grove is 8-4-2 entering the contest against Rogers Tuesday night at Maple Grove Community Center.
