Maple Grove Girls Hockey Team Set for State
The Maple Grove girls hockey team is set for the state class AA tournament.
The Crimson defeated Blaine 4-2 to win the Section 5AA tournament and earn a berth to state last Friday.
Maple Grove is back in the state tournament for a second straight season.
They face Hill-Murray in the quarterfinals Thursday night at 8:00 at the Xcel Center.
Maple Grove beat Hill-Murray 3-0 in the regular season, with all three goals coming late in the game.
