Maple Grove Girls Hockey Skates Past Wayzata
The Maple Grove girls hockey team dominated for most of the night on the way to a 5-2 win over Wayzata in Lake Conference play Tuesday.
The Crimson led 1-0 after one period and 3-1 after two, and outshot the Trojans 46-12 for the game.
Cate Fischer had the first and last goals for Maple Grove, while Hadley Bakker and Harper Wieneke each had a goal and two assists for the Crimson.
The win gives Maple Grove a split of the season series with the Trojans.
