Maple Grove Girls Hockey Skates into Season
The Maple Grove girls hockey team has high hopes for the 2025-’26 season, with several key returning players and a strong younger group, too.
The Crimson went 17-8-3 last winter and finished as runner up in Section 5AA.
Like other Crimson teams, it’s the first season in the powerful Lake Conference for the girls hockey team.
Captains Fiona Gallagher on defense and Hadley Bakker at forward lead the Crimson, along with alternate captains Cate Fischer (forward), Maisy Tomlinson (defense) and Abbie Benson (forward).
Standout goalie Bella Prosser is one of the state’s best.
The Crimson open the season with a trip to Moorhead this week to face Alexandria Friday and Moorhead Saturday.
