Maple Grove Girls Hockey Settles for 1-1 Tie vs. Moorhead
In an early season battle between two of the top class AA girls hockey programs in the state, Maple Grove settled for a 1-1 tie with Moorhead.
After no scoring in the first period, the Spuds got on the board first when Haylee Melquist put the puck in the back of the net.
The Crimson responded in the third period when Maddie Elfstrand jammed a loose puck in the crease in for a goal.
Maple Grove’s Bella Prosser ended up with 23 saves for the Crimson.
