Maple Grove Girls Golf Wins Section 5AAA Title
The Maple Grove girls golf team dominated to win the Section 5AAA tournament at Links at NorthFork.
The Crimson had a two-day total of 643, well ahead of second place Forest Lake at 723.
Maple Grove’s McKenna Hogan placed third individually with a two-round total of 154.
Teammates Amelia Morton and Julia Contreras tied for fourth at 162.
Blaine’s Kathryn VanArragon won the individual title, carding a 70 in round two for a 142 total.
Champlin Park’s Taylor Ullen tied for sixth to qualify for state as an individual.
