Maple Grove Girls Basketball Wins 17th Game in a Row
The Maple Grove girls basketball team won its 17th straight game Wednesday night as the Crimson rallied to beat Centennial 62-55.
It’s the second win of the season for the Crimson (21-4) over the Cougars.
The Crimson trailed by 10 early in the second half before rallying. Jordan Ode led the Crimson in scoring with 19 points. Kyla Overskei added 16.
Sydney Kubes scored 16 points to lead Centennial (15-10) in scoring.
Both teams finish the regular season with games Friday night. Maple Grove plays at Park Center while Centennial hosts Anoka.
