Maple Grove Girls Basketball Team Rolls in Playoff Opener
The Maple Grove girls basketball team rolled past Brainerd 65-23 in the Section 8AAAA quarterfinals.
The Crimson jumped out to a 15-0 lead to start, and had a 32-10 lead at halftime.
Jordyn Lamker scored 20 points and Abby Schulte 16 to lead the Crimson to their 22nd win of the season.
Maple Grove meets Elk River in the section semifinals Saturday afternoon in St. Cloud.
