Maple Grove Girls Basketball Routs Anoka, Wins Sixth Straight
The Maple Grove girls basketball team won their sixth game in a row with a 78-32 victory over Anoka.
The Crimson were balanced offensively with six players scoring nine or more points.
Monica Stang led the way with 17 points. Sophia Anderson (14 points), Kate Holmquist (12 points), and Mariah Sexton (10 points), all also scored in double-figures.
Defensively, Maple Grove only gave up nine total points in the second half. The Crimson are now 6-1 on the season and will face one of the top teams in Class 2A, Crosby-Ironton on Friday.
