Maple Grove Girls Basketball Loses to Roseville in 5AAAA Championship
The Maple Grove girls basketball team lost in the Section 5AAAA title game Thursday night, falling 60-50 to Roseville.
The loss ends the top-seeded Crimson’s season and their 20-game winning streak.
Maple Grove led 23-17 at halftime but were outscored 43-27 by the Raiders in the second half.
Drew Johnston scored 15 points to lead Roseville in scoring and Hattie Mae DeVries added 14.
Jordan Ode scored 20 points for Maple Grove and Kennedy Klick 10 as the Crimson finish the season with a 23-5 record.
Roseville (21-8) will be making its ninth state tournament appearance.
