Maple Grove Girls Basketball Hopes to Make Playoff Run
The Maple Grove girls basketball team is hoping to extend a strong season with a playoff run.
The Crimson enter the Section 5AAAA tournament with a 22-4 record.
They are the top seed in the section.
Maple Grove went a perfect 19-0 in Northwest Suburban Conference play.
They finished as runner up in the section last season, and hope to take the next step this season.
Maple Grove hosts eighth seed Irondale in the section quarterfinals Thursday night.
The semifinals are next Wednesday.
