Maple Grove Girls Basketball Falls to STMA
The ninth-ranked Maple Grove girls’ basketball team lost a close game to second-ranked St. Michael-Albertville 68-63 Tuesday night.
Jordan Ode scored 25 points to lead the Crimson who rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to briefly take the lead in the second half.
Claire Stern also scored in double figures for the Crimson with 13 points.
Tessa Johnson scored 26 points, just under her season average, to lead the Knights while Ja’Kahla Craft added 18.
STMA improved its season record to 6-0 with the win while Maple Grove falls to 5-3.
Both teams had games scheduled for Thursday night that have been postponed because of Thursday’s expected bad weather.
