Maple Grove Girls Basketball Falls to Roseville in Section 5AAAA Final
For the second straight season the Maple Grove girls basketball team lost to Roseville in the Section 5AAAA final.
The Raiders built a 33-23 halftime lead and held off the Crimson for a 68-62 win Friday at Anoka High School.
Junior guard Kendall Barnes was the difference maker for the Raiders.
She scored 31 points and repeatedly drove into the lane to score, draw a foul, or set up a teammate.
Lillian Peper added 12 points to help the Raiders’ cause.
Jordan Ode scored 20 points and Kennedy Klick 18 to lead the Crimson.
They finish with a 24-5 record this season.
