Maple Grove Girls Basketball Beats Blaine
The Maple Grove girls basketball team beat Blaine 65-54 in a key Northwest Suburban Conference game Tuesday.
It’s the sixth straight win for the Crimson.
Maple Grove started strong, leading for most of the first half before Blaine cut their lead to two at halftime.
The second half played out in the same way, with Maple Grove building a lead and Blaine again rallying.
The Crimson got some key baskets and made enough free throws to hold off the Bengals.
Maple Grove is now 10-4 this season.
