Maple Grove Girls Basketball Advances to Championship Game
The Maple Grove girls basketball team advanced to a state championship game for the first time in program history with a 69-50 win over Lakeville North in the class AAAA semifinals.
The Crimson led nearly the entire game, opening a 36-26 halftime lead. The Panthers did rally to within five in the second half but Maple Grove never gave up the lead.
Jordan Ode had 30 points to lead Maple Grove, with Bella Hanna adding 15 and Addie Hanna 10. Aduke Ojullu had 17 to lead Lakeville North. Maple Grove meets Hopkins in the class AAAA championship Saturday night at approximately 8:00 at Williams Arena.
