Maple Grove Football Tops Centennial
The Maple Grove football team scored 21 fourth-quarter points to rally past Centennial 41-28 Thursday.
The Crimson took a 20-0 lead early in the second quarter only to see the Cougars score the next three touchdowns to lead 21-20 after three quarters.
Maple Grove running back Chuck Langama scored two of his four touchdowns in the fourth quarter as the junior rushed for 227 yards on the night.
Henry Stang and Bo Draheim scored the other Crimson touchdowns.
Maple Grove (2-1) plays at Anoka next Friday.
It was the first loss of the season for Centennial.
