Maple Grove Football Team Beats Blaine
The Maple Grove football team beat Blaine 17-7 Friday night.
The win brings the Crimson to the .500 mark at 2-2 this season.
The Crimson took the lead for good on a short touchdown run by Nate Elmes in the second quarter of the defensive battle.
Elmes threw for 179 yards, with seven completions to Spencer Wherry.
Anthony Gipson had 10 total tackles and a sack for the Crimson.
