Maple Grove Football Routs Minnetonka
Quarterback Jacob Kilzer threw for two touchdowns and ran for three more in the first half as the 7th-ranked Maple Grove football team routed 8th-ranked Minnetonka 35-7.
Kilzer threw for 145 yards and rushed for another 81 while running back Derrick Jameson finished with 92 total yards and a touchdown.
On defense the Crimson allowed just 99 yards of offense.
Defensive end Mason South recorded 10 total tackles, including five quarterback sacks.
Maple Grove (3-0) plays at Centennial (1-2) Friday.
