Maple Grove Football Rallies Past Wayzata
The Maple Grove football team rallied past Wayzata to win a thriller 38-34.
After Wayzata jumped out to a 20-3 lead, Maple Grove battled back to grab a 24-20 halftime lead.
The Trojans went ahead 34-31 in the fourth quarter before another Crimson comeback.
They lined up as if to kick a tying field goal, but instead completed a pass on a fake field goal.
That set up Evan Hull’s fourth touchdown of the game with four seconds left as the Crimson finished the rally.
