Maple Grove Football Preps for State Quarterfinals
The Maple Grove football team is back in the state playoffs for the first time since 2017.
The Crimson (9-1) are ranked third in Class 6A and face 8th-ranked Woodbury (9-1) in the state quarterfinals Thursday night. Maple Grove defeated East Ridge while Woodbury beat Rosemount to win their respective section championship games last week.
Thursday’s game is at Eden Prairie High School with a 7:00 pm kickoff.
This is the final week of outdoor games in the state. The playoff semifinals and the Prep Bowl are held at U.S. Bank Stadium.
