Maple Grove Football Preps for Prep Bowl
The Maple Grove football team is running through its final practices this week in preparation for their state championship game appearance.
The Crimson (11-1) meet Lakeville South (12-0) in the Class 6A title game of the Prep Bowl on Friday.
Maple Grove has outscored its four playoff opponents by a margin of 158-34 while Lakeville South has scored 40 points or more in five straight games.
This is the first time in the Prep Bowl in program history for the Crimson and just the second for the Cougars.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday at U.S. Bank Stadium.
