Maple Grove Football Hopeful For Another Big Season
Coming off an 8-and-4 season and another state playoff appearance the Maple Grove football team could again be a contender in Minnesota Class 6A.
But the Crimson return a less-experienced team from a year ago with just six starters back. Maple Grove’s offense will feature one of the state’s most dynamic playmakers in running back Evan Hull. The senior rushed for over 2000 yards last season and is coming off outstanding seasons in both wrestling and track and field.
Other returning starters for Grove include Alex Carlson, Joel Johnson and Tanner Skanson on offense and Ben Bristol and Gavin Pelto on defense.
