Maple Grove CI Adapted Floor Hockey Places 3rd
The Maple Grove CI Division adapted floor hockey team, representing all of District 279, won a 6-5 overtime thriller over Dakota United to take third place at the state tournament.
The Crimson had a 2-1 lead after two periods before the teams combined to score seven goals in the third, sending the game to overtime tied at 5-5.
Gaetano Sanders netted the game-winner for Maple Grove in overtime.
