Maple Grove Boys Tennis Beats Centennial
The Maple Grove boys tennis team continued its strong season by beating Centennial 7-0.
The Cougars are one of the other top teams in the Northwest Suburban Conference, but the Crimson dominated the match.
Maple Grove won all four singles matches in straight sets, without losing more than two games in any set.
The doubles matches were much closer, with number one doubles being the most competitive.
Maple Grove’s Eli Notkin and Oliver Walseth beat JJ Bliss and his brother Joaquin Bliss 7-6, 7-5 in that match.
Maple Grove is now 8-1, while Centennial is 5-2.
