Maple Grove Boys Soccer Routs Spring Lake Park
The Maple Grove boys soccer team scored twice within a minute late in the first half to break a 2-2 tie and went on to beat Spring Lake Park 7-2 Tuesday.
The Crimson scored the first two goals of the match before the Panthers netted the next two goals to tie.
Solan Gamache scored what turned out to be the winning goal with Frank Miller scoring the team’s fourth goal.
Maple Grove added three goals in the second half.
The Crimson, ranked third in the state in Class AAA, hosts Centennial Thursday.
