Maple Grove Boys Soccer Gets 3-0 Shutout Win Over Park Center
The Maple Grove boys soccer team continued their undefeated season with a 3-0 shutout victory over Park Center on Tuesday.
Senior goalkeeper Beckett Carlson scored on a penalty kick in the 20th minute to put the Crimson up 2-0.
Later in the first half Mason Reed scored on a cross from Owen Burshem and Colin Merritt scored from 35 yards out midway through the second half to secure the win.
Maple Grove is now 8-0-1 overall with a 7-0 record in Northwest Suburban Conference play; the Crimson will be at Champlin Park on Thursday.
Park Center falls to 5-2-3 overall with a 3-2 conference record. The Pirates will host Rogers on Thursday.
