Maple Grove Boys Lacrosse Beats Blake to Advance to Section Final
The Maple Grove boys lacrosse team beat Blake 10-4 in the Section 5 semifinals to advance to the section final.
The Crimson built a 7-1 halftime lead with a strong first half.
After Blake scored a pair of goals in the third quarter to pull within 7-3, the Crimson put the game away.
Josh Steinkopf scored three goals for the Crimson.
Tanner Brendon and Scott Cornelius each added two goals for Maple Grove.
Maple Grove meets Benilde-St. Margaret’s for the Section 5 title Wednesday night.
