Maple Grove Boys Hockey Skates to 3-3 Tie vs. Andover
The Maple Grove boys hockey team tied Andover 3-3 in a back-and-forth matchup between two of the top boys hockey programs in the state.
Andover scored the only goal in the first period on a Chase Nadeau goal. Maple Grove answered back in the second period with a powerplay goal from Henry Miller. The Crimson took their first lead when Jaden Roueche scored another powerplay goal early in the third period.
The Huskies then scored two goals in the span of 19 seconds, both netted from senior Brody Peterson. After pulling their goalie, the Crimson responded with a goal from Wyatt Kuznik.
Neither team scored in overtime and the game ended in a 3-3 tie.
