Maple Grove Boys Hockey Posts Sixth Straight Win
The Maple Grove boys hockey team won its sixth straight game Wednesday, blanking Chanhassen 2-0 on the opening day of the Premier Holiday Classic in the Grove.
After two scoreless periods Maple Grove’s Gavin Anderson scored an unassisted goal six minutes into the third.
Lucas Busch added an empty net goal in the game’s final seconds.
Crimson goalie Zach Price made 34 saves in the win.
Maple Grove (6-2-0) play Rosemount and Holy Family on the final two days of the tournament at the Maple Grove Community Center.
