Maple Grove Boys Hockey Off to 4-1 Start to Season
The Maple Grove boys hockey team has started the season well, going 4-1 with two wins against top 15 ranked teams in Class AA.
The Crimson have scored three or more goals in all five of their games, but head coach Todd Bergland has been equally as impressed with the Maple Grove defense, led by senior goaltender Ryder Skanson.
Cole Anderson and Lane Glende lead the Crimson in goals, each with four.
Glende has totaled eight points, but Maple Grove has been balanced with four other players scoring six or more points.
The Crimson will face off next on Saturday at Rogers.
