Maple Grove Boys Hockey Blanked By Hill-Murray
In a match-up of ranked teams the Maple Grove boys hockey team was shut out 3-0 by Hill-Murray Wednesday night.
The Crimson came into the game ranked fourth in Class AA, the Pioneers third.
Leo Gruba opened the scoring in the first period for Hill-Murray while Dylan Godbout scored in both the second and third periods.
Jack Erickson stopped all 22 Crimson shots he faced to post a shutout.
Maple Grove finishes the regular season with an 18-6-1 record. The Crimson should be the top seed in Section 5AA when the section playoffs get underway late next week.
