Maple Grove Boys Basketball Ready for State Semifinals
The Maple Grove boys basketball team is ready for the state class AAAA semifinals.
The Crimson had an up and down regular season, but they are putting it all together at playoff time.
They won the Section 8AAAA title for the sixth straight season, beating Moorhead in the championship game.
Maple Grove played perhaps its best game of the season to beat previously undefeated Champlin Park 70-61 in overtime in the state quarterfinals.
Maple Grove meets Cretin-Derham Hall in the semifinals Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Target Center.
