Maple Grove Boys Basketball Falls to Cretin-Derham Hall in Semifinals
The Maple Grove boys basketball team held top seed Cretin-Derham Hall to 15 points and led by seven at halftime of their state class AAAA semifinal Thursday.
The second half was a different story though as the Raiders stormed back to beat the Crimson 63-49.
Keegan Harney had 14 points to lead Maple Grove, with Henry Knutson (11) and Baboucarr Ann (10) also in double figures.
Tommy Ahneman had 28 points and 15 rebounds for the Raiders.
Maple Grove now meets Shakopee in the third place game Saturday while Cretin-Derham Hall meets Wayzata for the championship.
