Maple Grove Boys Basketball Edges Armstrong in OT
Caden Boettcher scored 24 points as the Maple Grove boys basketball team beat Armstrong 66-62 in overtime Thursday.
The Crimson trailed 25-16 at halftime but rallied in the second half to take the lead.
Owen Skram hit a buzzer-beating three-point shot in the second half tying the game at 55 and sending the game to overtime.
Skram led the Falcons with 25 points. D’Sean Larkins scored 15 for Armstrong.
Terrance Anthony-Larmouth broke a 59-all tie in overtime to give Maple Grove the lead for cut.
The Crimson improved their season’s record to 5-4. The Falcons are now 5-3.
