Maple Grove Beats Blaine in Football
Maple Grove beat Blaine 26-14 in prep football Thursday to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Crimson quarterback Nate Elmes ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in the win.
Maple Grove led 20-0 in the first half. Blaine scored late in the second quarter and again early in the fourth to pull within 20-14.
Michael Zupke rushed for 159 yards and the game’s final touchdown in the win.
The Crimson totaled 408 yards of offense.
