Maple Grove Baseball Earns Season Opener Win at Hopkins
The Maple Grove baseball team opened their season with an 8-2 win on the road at Hopkins.
Evan O’Dwyer earned the win, with 12 strikeouts and allowing only five hits in six innings pitched.
Vince Lenmark went 2-for-3 with three RBI’s. Oliver Taynton also went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
The Crimson (1-0) will face Eden Prairie on Friday. Hopkins (0-1) will look to bounce back on Thursday against Chanhassen.
