Maple Grove Baseball Beats Osseo
The Maple Grove baseball team beat Osseo 13-3 Friday as the Crimson scored their first win of the season.
Maple Grove scored multiple runs in the third, fifth, sixth and seventh innings to pull away from the Orioles.
Hunter Gerber and Sam Kliber each drove in three runs for Maple Grove.
Matt Holien drove in two of Osseo’s three runs with a fifth inning double.
Starting pitcher Cole Newell earned the win for the Crimson while reliever Kole Krier struck out five in two and two-thirds innings.
Maple Grove is now 1-2 on the season. Osseo drops to 1-1.
