Local Ultimate Athletes Helping Minnesota Wind Chill to Successful Season
The Minnesota Wind Chill are an ultimate frisbee team based out of St. Paul that competes in the American Ultimate Disc League.
This year, the Wind Chill won the Central Division with a 10-2 record.
A few players on the Wind Chill graduated from high schools in the Northwest suburbs and the Wind Chill’s Head Coach, Ben Feldman, is a 2006 Hopkins grad.
Being able to recruit local talent on the Wind Chill has helped grow the sport of ultimate in the area and been a big part of the Wind Chill’s success.
The Wind Chill take on the Indianapolis Alley Cats in the Central Divisional Playoffs Saturday at 6:00 pm at Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul.
