Local Skiers Shine at Section 5 Nordic Ski Meet
Local skiers fared well on a picture perfect day at the Section 5 Nordic ski meet.
Maple Grove won the girls and boys team titles to advance to state.
Champlin Park’s boys team finished second to also qualify for state.
Christina Bolcer of Maple Grove won the section girls title.
In addition to the Maple Grove skiers, Annie Miller of Champlin Park qualified as an individual.
Maple Grove’s C.J. Young finished second behind Cooper Lennox of Mora on the boys side.
Beyond the Maple Grove and Champlin Park skiers, Osseo’s Nick Kjome and Nick Trzynka of Osseo qualified as individuals.
