Local Shooters Take Aim at Clay Target Titles

Local shooters took aim at clay target titles Friday in Prior Lake.

The Minnesota State High School League sponsored Clay Target championship was held at Minneapolis Gun Club.

Champlin Park placed seventh and Wayzata ninth in the team competition.

Rogers was 34th and Maple Grove 40th.

Minnesota was the first state to sanction the fast growing sport.
